Save the Date 5/23 - 999 Ride & Memorial Ceremony

On Wednesday, May 23rd, officers from Westminster will return from their 630 mile ride from the Peace Officer Memorial at the State Capitol in Sacramento to Orange County as participants of the 999 Project Memorial Bicycle Ride. We will be holding our own memorial event in the courtyard that evening and would appreciate your support. RSVPs are required and additional information to follow.
About the 999 Ride
On May 19th, 2018 members of WPD and Project 999 will be participating in a 630 mile memorial bike ride from the state Peace Officer Memorial in Sacramento to our memorial here at WPD. The ride will consist of three groups of riders riding approximately 158 miles a day (split between the groups) for four days, ending on May 23rd, 2018.
The purpose of this ride is to honor our fallen officers and their families, remembering the ultimate sacrifice they made. All of the money raised will be deposited into our memorial fund here at WPD, which is used to assist officers injured in the line of duty and the families of officers killed in the line of duty.
